Mission:
Ratna Ling is a center for education, healing, and spirituality in everyday life offering retreats, workshops and conferences and symposia within the fields of healing and wellness. Ratna Ling serves as a host for programs of our sister organizations and is the home of Dharma Publishing and the Yeshe De Tibetan Book project.
Work-Study positions open:
1 Prep cook, will provide internship chef training for the right person 2 Landscaper/ gardeners 2 site maintenance and caretakers 1 Housekeeper
Work description: Prep cook needed for 2010 season. Landscaper/gardener needed now to maintain newly established gardens and develop new ones. People will skills in maintenance, electrical and/or basic carpentry to help with the overall site needed now. Housekeeper needed to coordinate and help cleaning and upkeep of guest lodging.
Commitment
Long-term - 6 months or more (includes monthly living allowance)
We are also seeking people who after their first 6 months would be interested in a longer-term commitment of 1 to 2 years or more to our Ratna Ling community.
