Mission
To rebuild, preserve and perpetuate Tibet's cultural and spiritual heritage for the benefit of the Tibetan people and all humanity.
TAP, an all-volunteer non-profit, is the fundraising arm of the Nyingma group of organizations.
Volunteer needs: People with abilities or training in bookkeeping and accounting IT, fundraising, event planning, non-profit marketing and non-profit management, grant research, graphic design, writing and web site management.
Work description: As a fundraising organization the work of TAP is widely diverse requiring flexibility and willingness to do whatever is needed. Those with specific skills can enhance their current level of expertise. TAP also offers volunteers opportunities and training in developing new skills which are transferable to jobs in the outside marketplace.
Commitment
Long-term - 6 months or more (includes monthly living allowance)
Requirements
Basic computer proficiency in most office applications and positive and flexible attitude towards work.
