Mission

Dharma Publishing, an all-volunteer non-profit publishing house, offers books, sacred art and inspired learning materials from the Tibetan Buddhist teachings for Buddhist practitioners, individuals, families and businesses. Dharma Publishing is responsible for the publication of Tibetan sacred art and Tibetan Buddhist texts, both in the original Tibetan language and translated into western languages. Dharma Publishing International operates in Europe and South America.

Work-Study/Internship positions available: Accounting and bookkeeping, sewing for products, program development,marketing, shipping

Work description:   While some of the work positions require specific skills, there are also openings for people who would like to train/intern in various aspects of the publishing business such as sales product design and manufacturing, shipping, marketing and bookkeeping.

Commitment : 6 months or more

Internships in pre-press and printing also available for persons wishing to make commitments of 1 to 2 years.

Short-term : 3 months- for specialized skills such as graphic design, data management, industrial machine sewing.                   

Requirements

Basic computer proficiency in most office applications is helpful but not necessary.   Individuals with a positive attitude, flexibility and a love of challenges will thrive in their experience with Dharma Publishing.
